Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

DEI thread removed, but not right awsy

It sat around yesterday for hours and to my eye didn’t have any problematic content. Not my thread. How does editing by TheLayoff even work? How do they decide? Does WF secretly get live item veto under threat of slander suits?

I can’t remember if the OP had anything specifically to do with DEI at Wells Fargo’s future prospects. Maybe that was why.

Sometimes posts get deleted for breaking the site rules allegedly.

The funniest thing is the DE&I team has the lowest job satisfaction. Pretty bad when the team everyone hates hates their jobs even more.

Ah, the troll/crying about censorship cycle begins anew

@OP censorship/moderation at theLayoff is basically that:

Blatantly democratic, left-leaning posts are quickly removed.
Blatantly conservative, racist, and especially pro-trump posts are allowed to sit an extra 24-96 hours depending on the mod.

Also, if you made a particularly good political barb, other posts you recently made that are completely unrelated may also get deleted out of the on-duty mod's anger.

Otherwise, it's really up to whether or not the on-duty mod feels like enforcing the rules or is otherwise occupied.

It's a crapshoot.

I'd lean more towards the explanation being that it was yet another rehash of an inflammatory but ultimately innocuous standard corporate policy, and not some insidious conspiracy to silence the seven rednecks who post here.
