Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Looking for a fresh start

I’m over being stuck at Wells Fargo. I’ve been hunting for something new, but the job market’s been tough. Despite that, I’m determined to leave before next year. I need to get away from this toxic culture that’s drained me. Merit doesn’t seem to matter here, and it’s hard to keep going when everything feels wrong. I just want to enjoy what I do again and move forward.

The work culture at Wells Fargo has started to get worse. Got luck dealing with risk teams in RCSA. They are difficult to work with and will throw you under the bus.

OP,
What's with all this bully cr-p?
I have been here close to 20 years and haven't seen anything regarding what you are spewing.
Sure, there are more aggressive people that like to make you think like they do. But that is about it.
Your reaching here. Your argument is all over the place.

Who asked you to stay at WF? You proclaim merit does not seem to matter and still at WF, so it means you lack merit, right?
WF does not need cry babies like you. Go away!

You are correct -- Merit doesn't matter at WF. Only bullying others does. The scandal and asset cap prove that WF is an unethical place to work. To get the asset cap lifted the management built up the "risk management". One objective of RM was to show the rest of the world that WF employees could become ethical toward their customers. They built a huge rule policy book for workers and systems to follow. They prescribed the set of "Develop You" courses thinking that the employees would remain ethical toward their customers.
Unfortunately, there is no 12-step program for bullies. Once a bully always a bully. After all, being a bully has helped you progress at WF. But because of Warren, the CFPB, and the asset cap restriction, the bullies of WF decided it best to change the focus of their bullying -- from customers to employees. The results are evident in this ongoing never-ending layoff program with no beginning or end. The hard workers are severed; the bullies survive. RTO, location strategy, offshoring, fake and skewed job performance review practices, Wagile micro-management "agile" practices have made WF a "different" place to work. Only the bullies survive.
In short, the environment of making and rewarding bullies has not stopped. The rewarded learned behavior of management bullying the customer to open new unneeded accounts has shifted to managers bullying their directs with false job reviews, location strategy, RTO, and layoffs. Only the bullies remain.
For the flogged employees still remaining I suggest you set your boundaries. You do not have to "prove" yourself to your bully. I suggest you learn what "safe workplaces" are. I suggest you learn what "safe workplaces" are. For the activists you might think about supporting the "workplace psychological safety act)(endworkplaceabuse ).
