Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Please explain verizon

Someone who understands buisness well enough please explain !!Verizon still does not seem to want to make Money. They now are purchasing Frontier communications back after all these years ,but yet cannot even manage to bring in or maintain the areas they have. The customer base we are losing on wireline in all divisions residential & buisness is obvious yet not reflected in their meetings? The wireless market is saturated can only go so far.Its like they are steering the ship with blind folds yet putting in in super speed at same time hoping to crash .Why is no one doing anything to try to drum up buisness in all divisions since we already own so much fiber network

VZ has not been in the financial metrics growth arena since the Hansinator took the helm. He has proven time and again that increasing market share, revenue, etc. is meaningless. The most important agenda for him is curing all of the so called social injustices and inequalities.

This is why the cheerleaders are wrong. They have no idea what they are doing apart from treading water

Verizon Fios Fiber to Vz Cell Sites expanded with owner economics, More Fiber Customers, Cross selling more Wireline and Wireless to Veizon Customers, Most importantly Verizon can show wall street that Verizon can expand their annual revenue dollars. At the same time more Fix Wireless Access (FWA) in all of the Frontier markets as well. Win-Win

The downvoters and Team Hans are why the stock has gone nowhere, the marketing reeks of amateur hour, products and pricing are a joke and T Mobile and AT&T is beating the company's backside. It has been the clown car amateur hour since Hans took control. All of his picks have been comical. The next six months are going to be a lot of fun and many posters will be gone by the end of that time.

which planet are you from? As long as the CEO and VP are making money, they can care less about the company and everyone else

No worries, lets invest in changing the logo, that will bring in more business we can use to pay off the $129 billion debt load! And if not, we can just layoff people, disrupt their lives and thier families livelihood to make up the difference.

I wouldn’t hold hope up on Frontier leadership. After all, Frontier wasn’t run with flying colors either: staggered growth, deep debt, etc. the same problems VZ has.

Because in buying Frontier and rehiring old employees they will actually have some people in senior positions who actually know how to operate a telecom company. Right now the company is running off of the fumes of the business built by people who knew how to operate a competitive telecom, but there is no one in any leadership position that understands the US telecom market and how to meet those expectations profitably.
