Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

December is work/life balance month.

The remaining month of the year is a free for all.

No 3 days in office!

What’s the point? 5 days is the new metric to track. Take December off, come back fresh.

The kids are off school for the last two weeks. This is why we have caregiver time. Use remaining vacation in the next 2 weeks then caregiver for the last 2 weeks

Enjoy the last month of “work/life balance”

The company wants to know what it’s like to have less employees, show them for the next 30 days.

"What is your problem RTO."

My problem with RTO is that there are not enough desks for all of us so I have to fight to find a desk. I am fine with RTO if they want to give me my own cubicle. However, after having to live through the deadliest health epidemic in a century, that a-hole Stank wants to force us back into small spaces, closer together. However, he will keep his protected penthouse level office with doors for himself and his other executives.

Are you serious? His kids work here? I mean of course, his nepotism runs deep. I shouldn’t be surprised.

Ask the Stink's daughter, a Toxic-T employee now, how her work/life balance is.

For her, I am sure the Stink has it setup for 0% work, 100% life.
For us, the Stink has it setup for 100% work, 0% life.

Maybe it’s not abuse to you, but it is to me. They’re forcing me to spend my take home pay on destroying my car, so I can show up to the office to sit on teams calls.

All so they can keep their board members real estate portfolios propped up.

"Use as much time off as you can before Stankey uses his RTO policy to abuse you."

How is being required to be in the office 5 days abusive? I myself would prefer to work from home. I am less productive some weeks due to commute delays, but am I abused? The answer is a firm, No.

“I’m not going in any days in December, and I’ll see what happens.”
You will see at bonus time next spring.

I’m not going in any days in December, and I’ll see what happens. Would love to get some 1 on 1 time with my leadership to explain the reality of their terrible decision making. Go ahead and lay me off, you’ll be doing me a favor.

Take care of yourself and your family. Use as much time off as you can before Stankey uses his RTO policy to abuse you.

Everyone takes of the last couple of weeks to use vacation. I like using the caregiver time idea since the Stink stole a weeks vacation from most of us. Happy Holidays!
