RTO pushed me to look for other jobs. I came across a great opportunity and didn’t hesitate for a second to accept a job offer. Giving notice to T last week was the highlight of my 6-year ‘career’. Don’t let those a--holes treat you like cr-p. There actually are better companies, better pay and benefits, and better work-life balance. There are workplaces where they will not actively work on pushing you out, and maybe even appreciate you and value the work you do. Don’t let T hold you back.

Agree 100%. Took the sev package and left last December after my "new" location was a 42 mile drive one way and suddenly, the office i went to for decades was no longer good enough (and with over 1000 people). Been happy and appreciated at a new fully remote tech role where no one is up my a-s about badge swipes, good ol' boy club promotions and golf course deals and endless a-s kissing. Stankey is going to run the place into the ground and line his pockets and pension after destroying morale.
The Stank stated on a town hall that new hires are only expected to stick around 3-5yrs. He was hoping you’d leave to prove him right. That’s all he cares about. On to the next TDP class.
I kept showing up everyday for over 22years. During covid I took the 50g’s plus Sipp. Had to take another job because I’m too young to retire and need the money. Don’t worry, there’s other jobs out there. It’s a big world..
"Why is everyone that "leaves", fake or not, unable to stop coming to this particular forum?"
People come to the forum to share their stories, to ask questions, and to check in on the news and scuttlebutt of a workplace that occupies/d a huge part of their lives. It's not so hard to understand if you try.
“like those losers bi--hing about the RTO”
Up yours sycophant!
Even if you are not leaving, you should be looking. My coworker got a job offer the day before they gave her notice. SWEET TIMING FOR SURE.
Congrats. Right behind you.
That’s great you were able to leave on your terms, Most are stuck with no other employment possibilities.
C-suite thanks you for leaving also. One less mouth to feed and no severance pay. win-win.

I have outdated skills working with obsolete technologies. There aren't many great opportunities out there for me.
Congratulations getting away from Toxic T!
Well done OP!
A lot of other employees need to follow the example you have set.
Good for you. Being proactive is nerve a bad thing.
That’s right , don’t like those losers bi--hing about the RTO, just find another job. It’s that easy.
Congratulations & best of luck. Smart move.
Win-win for everyone.
