They've been saying dsl and residential landline services are going away for at least 15 years, they're still here AND, as long as welfare recipients are being supported with free services they will NOT go away. They will not take away services that are free to welfare b-m$.
With the pending decrease in services look for massive headcount increase in BFS.
It says most by the end of 2029. Meaning there will be some a lot sooner. Customers in markets that have deployed fiber will be forced to cutoff legacy services. They are already moving customers to Att air and other services.
I remember working on the 5E switch back in the day. It was the happiest I ever was!
I'm old enough to remember Randall stating no more T1s in the network by 2020. 🤣
Do we still have any 1A switches in service. I remember there was green goo leaking out of some of them that were left.
LOL The only thing AT&T has ever retired was older white men. This POS company couldn’t retire a legacy service if it only had 35 customers left using it. It’s all about where the dirty money flows. LOL
