Good riddance. Other than the historic nature of the address itself, the building is a dump and one of the ugliest versions of 1950's architecture you will see. Almost every skyscraper building that WF occupies in every major city is better. I do wonder why the corporate headquarters has not moved to NY. There must be some legal or compliance advantage to leaving it in SF.
I hope they can save that panoramic photo of the City in the Penthouse dining room on 3 walls and put it somewhere. It’s pretty cool.

@1stg why would you want to stay in the building all day long? Getting out is the best parts of the work day.
Whoever is left in the old HQ and moves will be happy to know at 333 one can get Taco Bell delivered for lunch with no fee to the lobby so you never have to leave the building during the day.
as we all know, sf was the headquarters of wells is name only with no execs left. i never thought they would get rid of 420 since its such a lousy building-- but there is some new life in the area due to a new museum and the reno of the transamerica building.
dont know if they will retain their one history museum but there is space at 333.
looks like one of the benefits of sf is using sf based regulators
