Does anyone know the latest on the location strategy? Specifically the downsizing in Winston Salem NC?

I also heard that most people in the Winston Salem location will not be offered relocation , they already relocated the call center and moved everybody to WEC but that soon end because they’ve got a center in Charlotte to handle the load and one in Minneapolis
To 1utt+1vO4SOb7 it is 1.5 hours commute one way for me.
How far is charlotte?
Hmmm our director’s boss is in Miami, FL and has been listed as remote. Pretty sure this doesn’t affect him.
Are Wilmington, DE employee’s sc--wed?
i know someone in Winston-Salem that has been offered relocation, they may take it because they have many years of getting their kids through college
Corporate Risk just put out an email on the states/markets they are planning on leaving by the end of 2025. Winston-Salem is one of the markets as well as Miami and Sacramento. States include CO, ID, ME, NM, OR, RI, SC, WA, WV, and WI.
Everything not called CIC. It'll be a while, but it's happening.
several buildings already shut down in Charlotte, what do you think is next?
I’m from that building and told in March was on the list. Nothing yet and no clear time when. Heard WEC closing 2025 w/exception for handful to manage what’s left in data center.
WF US tech is basically sc--wed regardless of all this hub sh1t. Get over it and move on.
There will be nothing outside of Charlotte, and several buildings in Charlotte will be shut down as well.
The lack of real authoritative info leads to a ton of rumors. The bank says virtually nothing outside of two emails post announcement and nothing more. For a bank that spends millions marketing to its employees, they could spare a few bucks on regular comms.
Why was this downvoted? I’d like to know. Isn’t that the purpose of this site!
