Where are all the ones who were in utter denial over 5 day RTO? Where u at, bruh?

Seems all orgs have the 1/6 date now. Any orgs left that haven’t yet notified?

Shhhhhhhh… don’t let the chest pounding Neanderthal leaders in on our secret. They go ape-$hit when they find out they are outsmarted once again. They are unwittingly painting themselves into a tighter, smaller corner as they will be forced to layoff selective people based on their DEI skin color and age. Let that light shine bright so their racist house DEI cards come tumbling down upon them. Since they won’t be able to pin the layoff decision on you, they will finally be exposed for their master plan.

The best part about lying about moving is you may even still get laid off.
Imagine the massive W that would be, you lie about moving, run the clock til sometime next year, get laid off, don’t move, get severance anyways.

Would be a huge W - you basically beat the system.

My contact in CRE confirmed what I heard from my VP about Legg org in ATL. L3+ have to start 5 days in January. Everyone else will not report 5 days until 1057 is finished. 1057 is not projected to be finished until June 2025. This might apply to other orgs in the ATL.

If you’ve got less than 6 mos severance, saying you’ll move and not doing it is the most cost effective option.

  • WFH as FOW
  • Paychecks until the last date (often at or more than 6 months)
  • HSA/Wellness deposits
  • 401k match
  • Full Bonus in March
  • BSMA
  • Maybe Connection Award too
  • Maybe an extension to move
  • Closer to MR75 if that matters to you

Relax and find a new job at your leisure.

Zero downside.

The company shills get really triggered when the engineers making $200+ plus stock - that are lying about moving, talkin’ sh-t about Stankey, making fun of RTO and the company watching their crypto and stock portfolios rip into the sky are the ones really winning while the sheep scramble for scraps.

I started here in early 2020 out of university, I’ve bought a house, paid off a Mercedes, and have a home with a 3% rate.
Got $500k saved up due to the insane stock market we’ve had and crypto gains.
Will probably be closer to $600k by the time I get laid off.
I couldn’t care less - I’ll find something else or take a 6 month vacation and relax.

Also, for all those saying it’s the young ones staying, nah, late 20’s…the moves this company has been making are id--tic. All my friends already left are in the process of leaving and/or doing the same I’m doing (lying) the only people moving and telling the truth are the olds and boomers, our generation has 0 respect or patience for this corporate two faced bullsh-t. It’s all business right? So is what I’m doing.

June 30th is 7 months from now.
With stock, bonus, etc that’s >$100k in earnings vs my 2 months of severance.
I’m not concerned, I’m sitting pretty FOW working from home while the company scrambles.
Couldn’t care less.

Not sure the intent of the reply, but the dozens of people I know who were reassigned to Atlanta got a report date of either 3/31 or 6/30, varied between Alpharetta and Lenox. So good luck with what?

NEO was told the same thing, then that changed with 1 email. Pretty sure Sambar pushed back on this stuff and that’s why he’s gone, along with some others. The rest fell in line. Heck we even got told there would be flexibility by the top, then the L4 and L3’s clarified for us, no exceptions, 8 hrs in office time worked at home (that they regularly require) doesn’t count, you are being tracked. They have to make sure their teams exceed.

They know there is not enough space for everyone. In Alpharetta, when they started that "reserve" your desk, people starting as--ulting each other and got fired. It is a normal sight to see police patrolling the parking lot.

Dallas does NOT have additional capacity for seating and work equipment unless they spend $$ there is not seating assignments. It’s each employee for themselves. Unless you are VP and higher then you have assigned seating with a door. Everyone else, get there early to try and grab a seat daily.

I am also in the little shrimps organization. Wave 3 and not going to move. I told them I would but it’s not going to happen and I’m not worried about it. I have six months to move and knowing T they won’t have space in the office for another 12 months or more. Until then I will work from home loving out the dream. So easy to beat T.

No announcement for me in the Legg org. Although i’m certainly not surprised.
Legg realizes that if he mandates 5 days RTO in the Atlanta office with the threat of termination for non-compliance, he will lose his house, his savings, and will have his future wages garnished. Forcing a 5 day RTO mandate knowing that there is overcrowding and not enough proper work areas is a big deal. They have to pay to play so cough up the extra cash little guy. You moved us to Atlanta now accommodate us.
