Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

I feel bad for Thompson, but I'm also worried about who's going to replace him

I know the chances are slim, but here’s hoping for a CEO who’s transparent, experienced, and genuinely cares about employees. Basically, the opposite of what we’ve had so far.

You know when someone asks you if you would press a button that gave you a million dollars but someone would have to die each time?

This guy's job was to find the fastest and most efficient way to keep pressing that button.

I hope we learn “why”.
Sometimes the “why” is covered up so the authorities can make a case for prosecution.
But since reports claim this was planned and he was targeted, I think there might be some personal animosity.
