Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Levelblue status?

Previously this was AT&T Cybersecurity. The last new LB post was end of July when a big layoff happened. Now it has been privately held a little while. Hopefully profitable. Probably not at this time. Companies that are not profitable usually do not last long term. Does AT&T even care? We will see.

Nearly all contractors with LB have been terminated. Barely any notice and right before the holidays. Sent all cyber consulting work offshore and are looking to terminate the remaining US based work force it seems. Worst company to work for.

As LB employees see status. T is invoicing a lot of $ to LB. All laptops, apps, service agreements etc. A lot of money every month.

We are cutting everything off, every day.

There will be bonus. T will pay partially, LB will cover rest.

Water cooler gossip in office is that no bonuses will be paid out to most LB employees. Only bonuses will be very targeted to specific workers they deem highly technical-clearanced mission critical. Rest get no bonus. Annual raise also very uncertain. That will further drive down employee count over 2025 to desired level for profitability. Levelblue is not in black but is in red it seems. Long term that leads to a medical code blue for a company.

AT&T still owns a portion of Levelblue, so people should still have interest. However, in true fashion, they left Levelblue employees squandering to figure out so many things on their own. No transitional help while the switch from namesakes happened, no support at all. They can’t even figure out how to transfer these employees COU lines over to Levelblue. Plus, AT&T is removing most cybersecurity products from its compensation for both direct sellers and solution providers for 2025. Nice job T, destroying a very viable business for a couple of quick dollars.

This is an AT&T board. LB is a separate company.
