Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Chads Town Hall

Yesterday was a waste of time on Chad Towne’s Town Hall meeting. We’re doing great the bonus looks strong.. We’re making money on 5G and Finer.. Then you have to love that there are legitimate questions from people during the QnA about the work conditions that they are living with… not enough parking at some locations.. workers getting mugged in Dallas, trying to go to work (I have confirmed this with a friend who moved to Dallas).. asking them to reopen the cafeterias and have improve the seating, also why don’t we have assigned seats? His answer that “we’re working on it” and that CRE wasn’t prepared?!? How could they not be prepared?? Well I guess like Stanks RTO original announcement, CRE is unprepared for a 5 day RTO?!? All legitimate questions that he blows off…

Then he says without skipping a beat or having a care in the world that we will end 2025 with less employees than we start 2025. But I thought we were doing so well!!

It’s not a CRE problem, it’s a leadership problem!
We won’t be seeing leadership walking around looking for a place to sit or sitting on the floor or in the cafeteria.

Because leadership has an assigned work desk /office WITH a door.

It’s ALL a joke and lies!

Leadership KNOWS what organizations are going back to work 5 days a week AND they KNOW the occupancy capacity of specific buildings from CRE. NONE of this is ANY surprise so why they are acting like they are still trying figure out the math is simply smoke and mirrors is a complete joke and lie!

Why would CRE be prepared? JTS makes these random decisions and just sends down the edict. 3-day was the norm and then they changed it. No assigned seats b/c we don't have enough. Answer: If they are there 1 day a week w/3 days, then 5 days shouldn't be a problem. Well, we will all find out!!

Your first mugging is moving to Dallas for RTO.

Downtown Dallas around HQ is much safer than it used to be due to all the police and security and upgraded areas around One Bell.

“You are not “owed” $hit. In fact that word has become the only thing your grubby brains can think of these days. Owed? Grow a pair and do an honest days work like other ethnicities and you’ll do just fine you lazy a$$. Your whole existence is based on your pea brained mindset of what you can get for free putting in as little work as possible. Good luck with the struggle of trying to look busy as we welcome you back to the office.”

I don’t know what the he-l you are talking about?? You sound very disgruntled. Facts are facts and what he said and the manner in which he said it was cold as F**k! You don’t go saying how great things are and how great we’re doing and then say we’ll have less employees at the end of 2025. Sends a confusing message to employees.

Yes! That has come from a direct source from someone who works in Dallas. There are a lot of homeless in the area causing problems. People have been mugged either going to the building to the parking or in the parking garage. As it was told to me.

"wrapping up in 2025."

No way in he-l that is accurate. AI is just starting to take off. Roles will continue to be cut for the forseeable future.

I remember when Stank announced the hubs last summer, he said workforce would be “right sized” over the next 2 years wrapping up in 2025. So that tracks.
Everyone back to office hubs and less than 10% remote in non-collaborative roles.

Just another Wakandan getting his reparations, by force if need be.
No justice on stolen land. We are owed trillions. In fact whatever comes after trillions. That what we be being owed.
