Rant…team member lives near hub and told to RTO. Asked the manager if he/she can work at a local office near their house bc it’s an hour downtown. TL said no problem…they will add the address. So let me get this right, ppl are losing their jobs bc they aren’t near a but someone can work locally bc it’s a shorter commute. So, scare good ppl off with the hub cr-p and exemptions for a few. Done with this craphole.

“I have heard that remote is offered to hard working high performers - maybe she earned it who knows!”
High performers and critical employees are getting a break it seems. However word is that will disappear soon enough, likely by end of 2025
"There is a girl on my team who got approved for working from home due to a disability. Meanwhile she was dancing at her sisters wedding for 4 hours."
No doubt that gaming the system happens, but you know this exactly how? Also, we have no idea of her disability.
I go to a local office 50 percent of the time. Know the rules play the game.
There is no policy, this is the problem. So until they have a policy that applies to everyone each team will do whatever they want. This is done on purpose so they can continue to change the rules of the game. I would not be mad at your peers, this bank is purposefully creating this to pi-s people off so they leave.
Sounds very progressive and green. We need more of that.

All for the bank cutting unused seats - restack with open floors and run at 80% occupancy.
@op unless your team is one of the unicorns this will work itself out between CPG, HR and your sr leadership
