Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Crown will fall, eventually

Like it or not most everything that happened to crown has been called out here before It happened. You got a bunch of spammers on here saying this saying that, probably about one out of 25 threads are factually close to the truth. Most of you joke replies, smart a-s replies, and get to work replies are from crown employees that are probably been here less than 5 years they don't know s* fresh out of some dum--ss college. Believe everything manager tells them. The fact is when a certain dum--ss CEO took over in 16 the company has been headed down a long frustrating road to the bottom. It's pretty much been running to the ground by a bunch of bo--s. So whatever happens to Crown whatever it turns into won't be what it is now. It probably start selling off assets, certain divisions of the company or maybe altogether sold who f** knows. I promise you one thing it'll never be what it was a badass company that everybody wanted to work for.

The tower side won't go under, if they shut everything down and just made sure the towers didn't fall over it would be a money printing machine. The issue is a need for growth to satisfy shareholders.

Its Friday .Relax and enjoy the weekend . If you hate your job so much you would rather sit around this site and spread your" expertise " on the situation (but only ever seems to focus on the negative outcome)
,you probably should of been job searching instead. If there is a RIF please feel free to be first to raise you hands

All you angry elves must work on the Tower Side. Because the fiber side is actually pretty friggen happy. We actually sell a lot and actually enjoy working with one another.
Management on down… good people with common goals…

Ok, What makes Crown so speacil. Real estate companies go bankrupt all the time multi million/billion $ companies go bankrupt too. 38B in assets & 32B in liabilities not to mention Crown had to borrowing money to a pay dividend. The original premise that Crown will fall my not be 100% correct but Crown as we know it today will no longer exist 5 years from now..

Kodak, Pan Am, Compaq, Sears, Blockbuster, Eron. Pretty sure their employees felt the same. It doesn't matter. Just look at Crowns balance sheet and debt to equity ratio. It's not healthy. You don't cut capital spending, layoff 10-30% of the work force and look to sell off a division that accounts for a third of revenue for a loss. SM & the rest of the EMT have no vision or plan for the future. Their not trying to grow the business fiber will be sold & towers will merge with AMT or SBC in the name of synergies

It’s a multi billion dollar company it’s not going to fall. It could fire everyone and print money for years. I’m sorry you got laid off.

This was a prized jewel company where every GC wanted to work here and I even found myself saying that I could easily retire here at one point. Being a public company comes within demands and scrutiny leading to where we are today. Not much left but a deserted Desert with no direction, tumble weed management, very bery dry future
