Was just notified that 18 people within the AT&T legal department have announced their retirements this morning. Most of the announcements are from APVs and Senior Associate Secretaries. Also includes directors and many members of our legal team over privacy.
Whats going on?

AVP is the standard level for most lawyers in the legal department not usually a true indicator of seniority.
Probably offshored them to go with all the other security stuff. Then they wonder why we get hacked.
