Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

BAT & Platinum

Heard from a few credible sources that BAT Mobility and Platinum Mobility will soon have a Wired goal as well. Good luck with that. This is literally like having two full time jobs. Again, good luck with that.

"selling wireless and wireline are [sic] easy. This is not rocket science. A monkey could do the job."

But can a monkey achieve subject-verb agreement?

What is it that we sell than can't be ordered off a website again? Our whole marketing department should be 20 teenagers posting speed test results on Tiktok.

Anyone working in this org can feel it in the air and experienced sellers / managers have been jumping ship for months. J.V.B. and C.B. have been touting convergence for a year now. The real question is how A.R’.s new “Business Connectivity Team” selling wireless and broadband will affect these existing orgs. Word is all B2B grads will be funneled to the new org.

Commenter below about insurance and next up doesn’t know sh*t. Not part of our goals or comp, praise Jah.

They called this a Universal Account Executive. It's a 2 for 1 for T. A BOGO of sorts.

The mobility reps all work with SP's to sell the wireline and they split the sale. The quotas are always designed to keep compensation payouts to a minimum.

T's comp plan has always been a demotivater, not a motivater. Further, when the UAE doesn't hit the crazy-high quota, in comes the PIP and next is one less employee on the payroll.

T has the cards and they are the house. The house always wins.

There is life after T. Guaranteed for those that want to work.

They'll just keep cheating like they do with wireless. Add some insurance here without them knowing. Add some next here without permission.
