As I started sending out resumes, I figured there’s no other bank I would really like to work for. They are all the same, more or less. One can maybe improve personal conditions by a small margin, but I suspect there’s no substantial difference. WF was my first job, and it made me really dislike banking as a whole.

That’s the stupidest comment! Acquired banks get fudged……inevitably!
Try a small to medium sized bank - much different and you can probably learn more and be treated better. Also, when they get acquired you may be able to score a retention bonus!!
You are unemployable, why blame banks? You’ll keep crying anywhere and everywhere.
