People whine the most when they have bloated egos. Get into management, if you have so many solutions, instead of bi--hing and whining all day.

"People whine when the leadership su-ks"

Followers whine when they want to be seen as victims. It requires no effort on their part.

It just means you, the leader, fail at inspiring people to do better.

“get them out of att"
“Patience, it's happening.”

Another punk loser with his id--t paint by numbers “trained” data model. Now you have Unsupervised Learning on the playing field to try and sniff out anyone that is not a hyper frenzied coding dog. You don’t need an AI model to discriminate and change out the workforce to be the color and age that you prefer. You’re already doing that. You yourself will be gone soon enough. How apropos.

We’re not going anywhere due to it now being such a large contingent of the company.
We’re going to keep poisoning the well, warning recruits away from the company, and telling the truth about the nonsense Stankey and co have done.

There’s nothing you can do about it.

"you have 1 job"

Actually, because of the fallout from RTO and all the head count leaving the company, I have at least 2 jobs now. But, thank you for suggesting I cut back.

RTO is the morale ki-ler, own it take ownership don't blame the employees.

You keep repeating your lack of leadership pattern
If there is a data leak you do the same pattern -- pass the blame to level 1 & 2

Own your shiet

Reading comprehension much?

They said it happened somewhere else, ie: not at AT&T.
"This happened somewhere else, but it applies to anywhere some blowhard boss..."

If your inability to properly process/retain what you read is indicative of the "average bear" at AT&T, no wonder your compay is circling the drain.

It's not a requirement for a person to be employed by any given company, to comment on any of that company's conversations on this site.

It’s not going to stop.
If management didn’t want this kind of morale or attitude from employees then they shouldn’t be handling things the way they are.
Deal with it.

"The "whiners" are not the ones with the toxic attitude"

Whiners whining about being called whiners. I guess that's a real thing now?

"Guess fragile egos can't handle when "underlings" are smarter and more innovative than they are."

Another hero in their own mind. Bigger ba--s AND much smarter than the average bear. Left the company and returned to this forum to let everyone know.

The "whiners" are not the ones with the toxic attitude. Its the executives. What do you expect when you lie to your employees?

  • "RTO is about collaboration" - LIE
  • "RTO is not a lay off in disguise" - LIE
  • "We will give generous relocation packages" - LIE
  • "We will publish the results of the 2024 Employee Survey" - LIE
  • "Our employees are our greatest asset" - LIE
  • "We will communicate with honesty and transparency" - LIE

And many others.

This is where the toxicity is coming from. Stankey and friends obviously read 1984 and thought it was a great example, not a warning. They say they want a culture of collaboration, innovation and excitement, but the culture they are actually modelling and acting on is one of slash and burn. They are going for the short term stock price gain while destroying the long term growth and prosperity.

"leadership needs to step in and confront the complainer's poisonous toxic employees. get them out of att."

You are absolutely correct. Those "poisonous toxic employees" just happen to be Stankey, Legg, McElfresh and other C-Suite executives.

This happened somewhere else, but it applies to anywhere some blowhard boss (such as OP) is being a disrespectful bully, who doesn't value their employees' individual input.

When in a meeting with our entire team and other teams, my manager was suggesting a way to do things which didn't make sense. We were glancing at eachother as if to say, "WTF?" but no one had the ba--s to say anything about it except me. I started out with a brief statement identifying the dilemma, then started to suggest alternative solutions by saying, "I think..." and my manager interrupted me by barking at me in front of everyone, "You're not being PAID to THINK! Just do what I'm telling you to do."

Wow.
Guess fragile egos can't handle when "underlings" are smarter and more innovative than they are.

I found another job (with better pay) within less than a month from the day of that meeting, and I gave zero notice when I left. My manager watched me pack up my stuff from my desk and asked, "Where do you think you're going? Have you given notice?" I said, "I'm not paid to give notice." His mouth was agape, then he tried to engage with me again, but I just totally ignored him, didn't say another word to him, gathered my stuff, and simply walked out.

No problem doing my job, just don’t expect more than my 40 in office only (since that’s all that counts). Don’t expect me to do nights weekends and holidays anymore. Done with that. They aren’t paying me more for those hours and I can’t flex any time, so that’s all they are going to get. Corey Anthony even said, we pay you for 40, ok that’s what I’m going to work. No problem.
