From what I’ve been told (I’m in Chicago), the AH will be removed and the S Canal building (where call center works at) will be where all of Chicago will be - this includes sales, etc. I know most people will be RTO in Dallas but that’s what has been said. They’ve been fixing the S Canal and making it “nicer”.

Imagine being in a non-hub and thinking your job is safe. Yikes.

Wow… Chicago peeps are disgruntled AF. Listen son, you’re not a hub. It’s a plain publicly available FACT. I see FORTY out of 258 on my surplus call in IL leaving 12/13. thats one of 2 calls.

If you really think you’re safe, wake up from the pipe dream and realize 2025 is probably your year. I’m sorry if this is news to you.

“Ameritech? ok fat bloated boomer. Must be from the Mike Ault days where everyone ate donuts and drank booze in the hallway and then disappeared for hours to go get laid.”

Lol never happened or I would have surely invited a man I had a crush on to come to my office.

“Many were laid off 12/13 from Chicago area this round. Orgs are thinning the herds out of that location. Remember that it’s not a hub.”

Another deceitful liar. Notice the word “Many?” I work under Legg/Chewning and I’m still here along with many others that are not Market support, including new DEI hires added recently. Friends with a few others that are assigned to this location and assigned as TW. DON’t try to lie to people that come to this site for solid information. Since I am here right now, why did a friend of mine working out of this office need to get an apartment in Dallas to keep his job? He works on Teams all day with people from India, His wife and children would like to see him this evening but cannot. Fking losing my $hit here with all the lies you people are spewing.

IL is only going to be market support long term. Many were laid off 12/13 from Chicago area this round. Orgs are thinning the herds out of that location. Remember that it’s not a hub.

Don’t know how true it is but had a conversation with a fairly high up executive, after we bought Ameritech, who had been assigned there. Said he was shocked at the corruption. Everyone had their hand out. Employees there just considered it normal business practices. You paid to get permits, to set up equipment without getting shut down, etc. etc. No idea of if this has continued but at one time it was a cesspool.

Stankey hates Chicago if you didn't know. He wants Chicago to go away, like it never existed with regard to at&t.

“Chicago and San Ramon to be shut down in 2025.”

Chicago yes, but not the suburban office that will be replacing Schaumburg.
I’m an insider and I have the real information, not like that talking head from HR.
The entire AT&T stratosphere is a smoke filled echo chamber of lies and deceit.

Chicago is a shell game location in play.

  • IT from Chicago assigned to Alpheretta with the lie that Chicago closing down.
  • Schaumburg building lease expires but smaller building to be leased.
  • New location will house Business IT and the TW “once a monthers”
  • Lies continue as “Different rules for different fools” continues.
  • Remember, the major hub destination assignments are just a mechanism for the false appearance of an equitable shake down. the FACT is, some opt to follow the job and then are told they will be laid off AFTER T receives their decision. (age, race and gender of those laid off AFTER opting to move is the real gem of a class action lawsuit).
  • Once the smaller building is leased and the selected undesirables have been laid off, we can all bet that Chicago will remain open for business as another hub location for this lying pole licking decaying infestation of a zombie company.
