Endless meetings

I find myself worn out from back-to-back meetings that don’t even need to happen. It's like a never-ending cycle of pointless talks. How much time do you spend in meetings that really don’t move things forward? It’s like they just su-k the energy right out of me, leaving nothing but exhaustion.

No. Wrong. False. It is not the culture of the USA. It is the dysfunction of bad management and aimless planning. That is what the place is now. Not before Robin and Charlie. And my dear ‘mate’, there are some names here from the U.K. Who are the worst offenders and so full of hot air, you can see them from space.

Just wait until you enter into the PM model... Non stop meetings, and oh yeah, need to have IST folks on so now we all need to start at 7 or earlier. Yet we're then expected to make PM trainings calls at 430pm.. sorry, I did my time already...

This meeting craziness started during Covid when they started getting rid of SMEs.

Now I spend 2-3 hours every morning getting yelled at for issues totally out of my control and then am expected to be productive the rest of the day. Really dysfunctional culture at the moment.

It's just the culture in the USA. Endless pointless meetings. Coming from EMEA I found it bizarre. A lot of these meetings could be 5 or 10 minute catch ups between two people.
