A coworker received a meeting request from GTM and the subject line was “Office Work Hours-Pilot”. Any ideas of what this about?

F the office and F Hudson Yards. Worst thing that ever happened to this company, and it's not close.
whole they may tell you it's all day, and will likely be the case for hourly employees, for exempt they can only make it 4 hrs. this is the same reason a half day PTO counts as in office, exempt employees can only take PTO in half or whole day increments.
Hours tracking would be a hard sell for exempt roles. Tech employees not on call that get called after hours could say they can’t do work unless they are in office- I’ll be at the office in 3 hours.
If it’s not a policy - I’m not following it
Until I show up in the naughty list, I'm coming in for 2 hours and working remote the rest of the day. 🖕
My manager said 4+ hours. Telling employees who are exempt that they have to stay in the office for 8 hours risks Wells Fargo losing the ability to call the role exempt and they don’t want to pay OT.
Who cares, leaving this shi!hole after bonus!
Our manager told us they also do track IPs and are tracking down coffee badging so this all checks out. Per their instructions, it’s 4+ hours in office still to avoid the naughty list
You could just wait for the meeting to actually happen.
OP - which LOB, and what does GTM stand for?
Yes, we were told the same thing. People coming in for an hour and leaving have ruined it for all of us so now they'll be tracking to make sure you are in the office for the full day.
Our manager told us last month that hours in the office will start being monitored in 2025. Let us know what the meeting was about when you find out, if you dont mind .
