I don't know of any employers paying for internet or home office heat. What a deal if you are not needing rental space and all the cost that go with it.

RTO is also for connected management (and boards of directors) to help out commercial real estate landlords, lenders, investors and bankers.

The CR industry is having financial difficulties because cleaver companies have figured out they can save huge sums of money if they don’t lease a building. So the CR industry is trying to create a “management fad” (I.e. a narrative that denies reality) that leasing office buildings is necessary.

Any company that figures out how to manage remote information workers will have a significant competitive advantage.

But the big boys in industry and government have to set the example to perpetuate the RTO fad.
