Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

LinkedIn

Anybody else finds it funny how all the LinkedIn posts make AT&T seem like this perfect workplace where everybody is happy and productive and grateful to be working for this amazing company? It’s next-level gaslighting. I mean, I understand. If you’re gonna vent, you’ll do it on sites like this one, not LinkedIn. But still. Make it believable, if nothing else.

Post your truth on linkedin - let the public know the level of incompetence that exists in att.

"Trust me, there's a lot worst places to work than AT&T...."

Well, we are in the United States, not the diamond mines of Botswana. There is no worse place in the U.S.

I just think it’s funny we can spend time on LinkedIn, able to search for another job or be recruited by competitors. However facebook is blocked. Absolutely genius for us prospecting in the SMB space. “There’s no small biz on fb, employees will just waste time” - Stink, probably.

“It’s amusing when Stank makes a post and 90% of the comments are trashing the company. I don’t follow any CEO’s but his posts come up due to the algorithm. Do any other CEO’s get trashed this badly? It’s embarrassing for him.”

It’s rare for anyone to get trashed on LinkedIn due to career ramifications, so this is definitely interesting and shows how much animosity there is towards him.

the few that are cheering on att here on this thread are the same as the chick who ratted out a fellow human in a mc donalds just a few days back. He-l waffle house would not have done that they would have disposed of any sus items for him.

  1. LinkedIn is the Facebook of businesses. It has truly fallen and is really a joke.
  1. LinkedIn is one of the phoniest sites on the internet. Just about 100% of the stuff posted by companies and "consultants" and "leaders" is some of the stupidest B U L L S H I T on the internet. The term azz-kissers comes to mind because that's all it is.
  1. The Stink as a disruptor is the prime example of the stupidest posts on Linkedin/the internet. For the Stink to post that is someone who is not in reality because he is literally running T into the ground. The Stink is weak and driving T into a commodity supplier like every other company in telecom. The negative comments about the "disruptor" were spot on.
  1. To let your true opinion ne heard on LinkedIn: create account and login to a separate account that isn't your name (make up a name and use an alias email address from yahoo) and let your true feedback be heard. Do not let them censor you by holding your job over your head. Newsflash: they are coming after your job regardless! Wake up.
  2. It is time to make the Stink feel the feedback. Let that MF have the truth.

Thank you all. Today was my last day. Good luck and I hope you guys either stay and the company changes the Stink or get severance and get out for something better. I got a job at a smaller company and it is like I have walked into heaven. The pay is about 20% less but the job is 100% remote and this company seems to value you and trusts you to do your job without putting a chip up your azz and checking where you are every 10 minutes.
God bless you all and good luck to you all.

If it’s posts about people leaving that another employer will likely see, it makes sense. Plus I’m sure some genuinely are proud of the work done and appreciate people they worked with for years. You can love the work and people and still hate the company.

This forum really sums up company feelings. And it’s not pretty.

LinkdIn had a post a week or so ago about the Stink the disruptor. Most of the comments for the article were negative. LOL
