Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Scharf and the OC is freaking out about the union drive

Heard that at the last meeting Charlie was raging that they're not doing enough to stop it. Saul, Ellen P, Scott, Beiling, the new Bill Daley are all under the g-n to stop it. LOL

There's been a million mergers, so if you're 'levgacy (insert other bank here)' then maybe you got a 401k match every check, but WF hasn't. Not in the last 25 years anyway.

Why should we not unionize? Shart and OC will only continue to take from employees. They truly do not value you.

401k is essential for saving for the future. Yet WF consistently reduces the benefit and value of the WF plan. The plan/WF went from matching employee contributions with each payroll, to ER match quarterly in company stock, to what exists now. No ER match for EE contributions unless you are an employee on the last minute of the last day of year.

Next WF will follow IBM once again to be “competitive” and do away with the 401k company match.

Just another way to take from employees because management cannot come up true operating efficiencies beyond laying people off, shifting more and more jobs offshore, and creating other morale lifting decisions, RTO, tracking the minutes you are at your desk on your computers, etc. I wonder how they calculate time away from your desk if you are “collaborating” in a conference room with those jobs sent offshore?

Employees continue to work more for less.

Charlie and executive management does values WF employees? Please demonstrate how? Free ice cream and balloons once a year? Hello Union!! What else do employees have to lose? Only all that Shart et al., can take because that is what they continue to do.

In that case, hells bells, let's make a big push to unionize Hudson Yards employees. Two can play at this Fing game.

It's why they're closing the Oregon sites. Folks at Barnhart and Salem were making very serious efforts to unionize their office sites. It picked up steam, started getting press attention, and then 3 months later they announce the closures.

The REAL reason the Oregon sites are closing: union busting

This is the most fake propaganda on this site. The grammatical skills are much improved here than other threads. It follows a very positive and consistent theme. I believe this thread was manufactured. Don’t let this fake new play you.

This is great news!! Because my team which is non-customer facing, (the conduct management team) will be unionizing on the 1st of November. And no, we were not slackers! We busted our as--s to make sure one of the regulators consent order was satisfied and all of our customer/employee complaints were routed and researched properly until they decided to send our work to India and lie to us about whether we could keep our jobs if we moved to growth locations… etc… removal of work from home accommodations against doctors orders for some of my coworkers, zero transparency about location strategy, new caps of 5 percent for promotional raises and even then you most likely will not get a raise until months after you start your position and then they will take a look at your pay and MAYBE give you a raise during you annual review. This place is a joke and this is why we are unionizing! Learn more at the committee for better banks.org or google Wells Fargo Workers United.

Only ones who want the union are the slackers that want to do nothing and keep getting paid more for it. My rate increase over my c. Plus the cost or higher than ues, I just have to take what they in other industries me and the fact a select few have the power

I dislike unions, but I hate Shart and if he is anti union, well, let's roll with it.

Get rid of Charlie, his chronic he brought with him from Chase…problem solved. Employees are tired of short staffing, offshoring, living under the constant threat of layoffs, watching all the people that know how to solve issues suddenly retire or just disappear. Employees being so under valued that one died at her desk and her body was left to decompose for 5 days. Why the F would anyone want to work at this h3llhole is a mystery.

As an employee that would like to see the company succeed, I am also adamantly against the Union.

Uhhhh Charlie, attempting to stop it would be against the law.

I hope it’s causing him all kinds of pain.
