Does anyone have a list of when benefits are turned off for the different stages of being laid off? For example, when does hsa contributions stop? I heard your medical plan stays through the entire severance period but does your hsa contribution also stay since that is directly tied to your medical plan? And does your medical premium change to cobra levels while on severance after your notice period ends? I know 401k contributions stop after notice period but trying to figure out what benefits to switch to my husband’s plan versus getting what I can out of my benefits as long as I can.

This chain is bait click and ridiculousness junk
HSA contribution is not really relevant. You can make your own HSA contribution anytime up to April 15th the following year. I have $1 a paycheck go to HSA and then put thousands into it during tax season to balance out any tax I might owe.
Medical insurance stays at the standard price while on severance. Then it will skyrocket with cobra. Probably best to avoid cobra
Medical continues while on severance. Your HSA contributions continue as well. You should get notified about Cobra within a month or so after your medical coverage ends from what I understand. 401k contributions stop when you start your severance period.
401K & HSA don’t contribute while on severance
