Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WFA

So it looks like they are moving away from "divisional" compliance people sitting wherever they want in the Division. Now they are making people reapply for their jobs and must sit in their complex. Whats the reason?

I think you meant could not.
I agree, but seems like it's tough to find? Otherwise, there are some I can't believe got the role in the first place. Unless you're female in certain areas, then you get a pass.

They need to have the Market Leaders reapply. Some of the new hires could recruit Cookie Monster with a case of Oreos.

They’re going to have a bunch of box-checking kids, with zero industry experience, filling in for branch managers? Bring on the lawsuits and violations. I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but Charlie is making even worse decisions than Stumpf.

Same reason they do everything else, to get rid of us.

Upper management wants to see who the biggest bullies are. They will
get the prize. After investing all kinds of money into expanding WFA this will deflate the returns.

Sounds like the complexing work is a jump ball scenario. So, yes, you would have to apply.

Having people reapply for their jobs they already hold is what is ridiculous.

I had that happen to me in a prior company and I won't do it again. It just shows that they have no clue how to manage headcount and by starting over just shows incompetence.

Because they are cutting down Branch Managers. The compliance people will now serve as the qualified supervisor in the branch instead of a Branch Manager. The complex manager will have 2 or 3 branches.
