Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Change needed with CS&O Leaders

The so called leadership in CS&O (Townes, Harding and down) lacks the ability to turn around AT&T Business... which has been proven for years. Their answer to continuing to have a +15% decline year-over-year is to reorganize and offshore Service Management & LCM jobs hoping things will turn around. You would think they would improve the services, enhance the customer's with solid talent, and try to bring in new customers. Or maybe just continuing to do the cheese Latte's w/ Laura and Bitmojis.

Instead we are making horrible business decisions and driving AT&T Business into a the ground. Take the recent example of bringing in Wipro to take over Service Management jobs, of which Wipro refuses to take on some accounts and other customers are refusing to allow Wipro to support their accounts. So what does leadership do... they contract with Tata to take on those accounts which Wipro refuses to support. Sounds like a great plan or a band-aid for something that wasn't well thought out... and instead trying to eliminate U.S. resources to reduce the cost. We have accounts which are expiring and leadership refuses to get involved and help extend.

Time for a change.... before it's too late. Or if they would release the culture survey we may see it's too late. Maybe we should offshore our leaders.

I’m in CS&O and I don’t care about any of that stuff. Townes wants me in the office 5 days a week and that’s where I am every day. I’m 100% compliant. I look busy AF, but I’m not really essential. Just trying to play the game and make it a few more years. Ph--k him!!!

Our stock price has gone up for the business as a whole, and reducing headcount. This is specifically talking about AT&T Business. AT&T Business had massive opportunities to grow but yet they refuse to understand their customer base.

Look at the Lucas (AVP) organization where he is actively reducing his team by volunteering to eliminate resources and offshore their responsibilities as a means to cut cost. Other AVPS in the organization are not doing this. He has accounts where unsuspecting LCM and SMs, and even clients who are surprised, that he is offshoring their jobs and they will have a short period to train their replacements.

Why not improve the offerings? Provide better services to the customers - and that does NOT mean offshoring? Or get AT&T Business in front of more perspective clients. He lacks creativity to do the right thing, until they come to offshore his job. He jumped in to offer up so many jobs as it makes him look good.

Most SM and LCM jobs will be offshored in 2025... open your eyes it's coming.

Former C&O Leader here, Townes only knows how to reduce costs as does his leadership team. They don’t partner with other leaders to renew contracts. They don’t look at the big picture on how to support our Business Clients. Townes cuts resource or sends it to Tata/Wipro and Sales is forced to hire LCM resources that Townes refuses to fund. Net net we continue to see Business Clients leave us for the competition and neagtive CS&O actions are not held accountable by the greater firm.

People who walk around asking questions have betrayed you. You deceived yourself by providing them feedback so they could inform contractors about how to perform your job. Meanwhile, they receive bonuses for betraying you.

Can you say cook the books? Do the quarter shuffle and fluff. Smoke and mirrors but you can't hide the huge debt.

Leaders must resign now. They su-k big loads.

Our leadership has "ran the numbers" and must be doing something right for our stock price to go up.
