Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Is anyone else feeling the heat?

Burnout is real, and it’s hitting hard with the endless workload and stress. It doesn't help that we're having layoffs all the time and never backfilling any of the positions, so instead of getting better, things keep getting worse. It's getting harder and harder to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I used to worry, but now I'm happy. Someone said to me, Don't worry, Be Happy", and here we are.

I used to worry now not so much. Why worry about something that may or may not happen?

There is one that feels absolutely no heat at all.

When the Stink experiences an upset - he just takes the corporate jet to get his head polished.

No worries - for the Stink! The P O S!

"That feeling will pass once you become a productive member of the workforce., or you leave."

No s**t. Use the time spent complaining to knock out a task.

“It's getting harder and harder to see the light at the end of the tunnel.”

Ask to join the Ticket 2 Ride Program. You will see the light at the end of the tunnel forever. It will never get any closer and it will serve as a “beacon of failure” for all that is wrong with T.

The cast of characters is worth the train ticket. The babbling buffoon AVP, The Sleepy VP and the Bachelor of Arts doofus that enables it all. All three of them should get a free toilet as their bonus as a symbol of the amount of money they’ve flushed down the $hitter!

The heat OP speaks of is the discomfort of being forced to work after a few years of relatively slack accountability. That feeling will pass once you become a productive member of the workforce., or you leave.

Pick up some of the tasks left gapped by past coworkers to take your mind off things.
