Severance packet said COBRA packet would arrive a month before WF-covered medical runs out.
I'm 2 weeks away from medical ending and still haven't rec'd packet. Tried calling 3 times and sat on hold forever - gave up.
Any word on when the COBRA should arrive?
(I'm not likely to opt for COBRA --probably will choose ACA thru Covered California -- but want to know the exact exorbitant COBRA cost.)
You can retroactively choose COBRA up to 60 days after your health coverage ends. WF knows that si expect delivery after your coverage ends. Mine was 6 days after.
mine did not arrive a month before..... print date on form was 2 days after severance ended. agreed that cobra is expensive. Retiree "benefit" was more than cobra!

Check page 16. This is a retirement doc, but the rates are same. I believe there is a 2.5% charge on top for retirees. Best of luck.
