Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Lower corporate tax reduction if not outsourcing?

Is it possible for us to tie the corporate tax reduction to not-outsourcing? If it is, why is no one thinks of it?

WF does not outsource, WF only hires the best workers in the world, regardless of location and nationality. Workers there all have have better qualification and education than America.

We have poor schools, we are lost and you need fix American education first.

  1. Forgive all student loans.
  2. Have all education free for all backgrounds.
  3. Give money to enable worker retraining programs.
  4. Make everyone want to go to Medical schools, qualify to go to Medical schools.

I've literally heard Trump supporters say that, out of principle and the rule of law, all illegals need to be deported, no matter how great the cost to the economy (one report estimates it could cost tens, or hundreds, of billions a year). I've also heard Trump supporters insist tariffs will be a net benefit to the economy, even though the actual experts -- economists -- say that they would lower GDP and cost us over 100K jobs. Both deportations and tariffs will increase inflation.

When the sh-t hits the fan -- and it will if Trump makes good on his word on tariffs and mass deportations -- remember this quote from Joseph de Maistre: "Every nation has the government it deserves."

You are way too far down the river for trickle down economics to help you.

Can't wait till Trump has to bail out US farmers from his tariffs, again.

I am not sure if the questions were rhetorical but in case they are not:

  1. Yes it is possible to tie the reduction to not-outsourcing.
  2. Because the purpose of the tax cuts are to benefit large corporations not individual workers (unless you talk about the c-suite executives).

Why on earth do people believe anything Trump says? NOTHING he does going forward will benefit anyone but him and people like him.

Your jobs are going overseas and tariffs will astronomically increase the price of everything from avocados to Toyotas. You’re going to be bi--hing about the price of rice soon.

Remember when his buddy Elon said there might have to be a little pain at first? Who do you think he was talking about? God people are stupid.

If you thought covid inflation was bad, wait until you see what Trump’s ego costs you.

  1. No, they don’t care.
  2. They’re resetting the status quo regarding workers empowerment. They don’t care about you. You’ll take whatever scraps they give you and you’ll like it. You’ll be so desperate to have a job you won’t complain.

Maybe a tariff on services as well as goods.

Stop thinking that lower taxes will stop them from laying off Americans.

This is their ability to recalibrate US income and living expectations lower while ja--ing up corporate profits. If you're not an oligarch, you're not supposed to benefit.

Technology may be doing some outsourcing but Ops and others are doing off shoring. Trump said if one of the big manufacturers moved to Mexico he would penalize them. Will see what he does for the bank.
