Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Snowflake DB leaked the data , but we have to clean up after their sh*t

So as you know Snowflake DB had a major breach back in the summer , expose not just T data, but many of their other corporate clients. Instead of Snowflake DB assuming responsibility, the sh-t rolls down hill to us with ungodly amount of rewrites for MFA and other hardening when in reality it WASN'T compromised credentials that caused the leak.

Why does T always bend over to these vendors it pays premium prices too and doesn't demand accountability...Snowflake is one of the most overpriced cloud vendors out there, and their product is sht if they can't secure it.

Cause Legg is an id--t

And only people under him are taking the fall for him moving things to the cloud where this is all happening. Next town hall question: How much are all these leaks costing AT&T? Leggy?

at&t is paying you to fix it. do you want the government to pay you to stand on the unemployment line?

This thread should be closed. You’re willing to complain anon about security issues you know nothing about. Harden the systems and quit complaining

It wasn't leaked. AT&T gave access/permission to snowflake and Microsoft. Teams was used to upload scripts for everyone to view. Anyone could run the scripts, so I am not sure why they are calling it a leak. The project to convert broke every data protection policy and if you said something, you were reminded that the company doesn't care.

I asked that question for years. No acceptance criteria for code we had written, no proof or test results to validate the product performs as specified. No functional testing, we'd just take it and of course it would not work. Riddled with bugs, vulnerabilities and functional failures. Then we'd pay them more $$ to fix it.
