Surplus will affect the younger new employee's. We need employees that want to learn. I look around and see employees who earned union termination big payday waiting for such who don’t want to learn. Our leaders will choose the cheapest option and continue to outsource.
No chance of technician layoffs cuz they’re in demand for their skillset that management personnel couldn’t possibly figure out how to do. So, techs are safe for a long time!
I think that there is a tradition not to surplus directly after the signing of a new contract.
Layoffs or forced layoffs will continue through outright cuts or miserable working conditions being implemented. The only way to get all the current employees to fit in the buildings is to get rid of the cubes and put in the 3x5 tables. The 4th floor renovation at 1025 Lenox is being built out with the tables, rows and rows of tables. The environment, and therefore the culture, will su-k. And once they get enough tables for all of us to sit, they will still have to figure out how to get parking or get us to buildings. There is not enough parking at Lenox for the stack plan CRES is building towards.
I’m predicting mass layoffs. Equities are highly over valued and leadership needs to placate Wall Street so they can get their bonuses.
Lets see what 2025 has in store.
No rumblings as of right now.
nah. Gonna make your life miserable until you quit. Project PIA.
An offer of some kind would be nice for the most senior technicians! Most of the older personnel are ready to leave since there are constant changes being made to the structure!
The BFS train is gonna keep on screaming down the tracks, with a coal hopper full of uverse work, get out of the way or get run over.
I hope so. I want my ESB.
53+ weeks and pension lump sum gonna add nicely to my total retirement numbers.
