Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This year has been all about "doing more with less"

This basically translates to us working extra hours, busting our backs, and still not getting paid what we deserve. T's new mantra is "be grateful you even have a job." It’s infuriating. They expect more every day, but where’s the appreciation or compensation? Nowhere. Just another year of being squeezed for all we’ve got.

Tell them they should be greatful to have you! This is the worst company. Threats, lies, bs lines as if no on has a brain. So disheartening for all that are still there. Get out as fast as you can. 6 months pay is not worth the stress.

The Stank$ message for over 20+ years has been you are lucky to have a job - leave if you don't like it - FU peon. NOT NEW AT ALL

"and still not getting paid what we deserve"

You'll very likely get what you deserve within the coming year, and you'll probably be surprised.

"Not signing back on after I drive 2 hours home from the office."

Drive faster if the commute seems like it takes too long.

Strap into your seat, because 2025 will be far worse.

Since they don’t care, now I don’t care. That’s the point they brought me to. Now, I do my 8 hours and nothing more until the next day. Not signing back on after I drive 2 hours home from the office.

That just started for you? It's been that way since I started in sales a 25 years ago. Grow up.

It’s really just an acceleration of increased accountability for full-time work. Metrics are powerful.
