Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

WF exodus

With banks doing much better across the board, I expect there to be a lot more hiring in 2025. That being said, how many people do we think are leaving WF after bonuses ?

I left the stagecoach in April of this year and went to work for Navy Federal. Most of our jobs are hybrid in Va. or Fla., but occasionally you will see a remote role. I was hired here in NC in a remote role and only drive up to Vienna, Va. a few times a year. Wonderful org and salaries are good!

I left for another firm late last year and have been steadily raiding the ranks at WF for talent. Pretty sure WF wishes it could put a price on my head and I got a threatening (but toothless) letter from Legal. Also used my connections to help two others link up with firms other than mine. If you find something better and escape, don’t leave your )high-performing) friends on the battlefield!

Where are these banks that pay well, are hiring and don't also require RTO?

I am retiring after bonus, so yes, leaving the dumpster fire.

From all indications, 2025 will still be rocky. Budgets are getting squeezed and some LOBs are talking about a hiring freeze.

OP,
What?
You didn't get your crystal ball when you onboarded?
You think this site will answer your pointed question?
You think budgets are going to magically open up and hire replacements for those who decide to bolt?
You think you might need to quit asking questions nobody can answer on a annon board?
Now, go ahead and downvote.

@ito+1vuZSAbm Lol @ "a lot". Won't be jack isht going on. A minority group will choose to leave, a minority will be chosen to be left and the majority will sit right here fat d-mb and happy because Wells actually pays........well.

Argue about it now and doubt me, its cool, Day 1 of Q2 you'll know how right I am.

Enjoy the soup, the croutons are trash though.

A lot. It's always been "a thing", but I noticed it much much more the last couple of years. HY is totally fine with it or course, they've never seen a voluntary term they didn't like.
