Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Email attachment pre or post screen ?

Does Wells Fargo flag all emails from external accounts or block emails with attachments? An email was sent with a txt.file and I received it but it was not sure if I’ll get flagged for it. If they monitor communication shouldn’t there be a blocked email or is it sent for review like teams chats?

Do you people NOT know what DLP is and what the point of sending an encrypted email is and that if you send a Bank email that has the words "INTERNAL" in it (even encrypted) that's a really d-mb thing to do? Yes, I'm in Technology and I monitor who accesses privileged data.

Way to go OP.
I work in the incoming mail review group and when an alert pops up, we assess and then it gets auto sent right to HR. Your bosses bosses boss will make the final determination.

Yep, your sc--wed now.

Incoming ext email:
Most emails should get quarantined but some may make it through but you will not be dinged.

Outgoing ext emails: you can get dinged if not authorized.
