New FCC Commisioner's Top Goal is Elimination of DEI in Telecom

Elections have consequences C-Suite and I am sure there are many former and current employees with more than a few abuse tales to share with the FCC. This is going to get interesting.

It matters alot ! if the unqualified look a certain way , people tend to overlook the fact they are unqualified. So in theory where they are sourced from does come Into play.

No dei ! Now we can get back to good old fashioned nepotism like it was for the last 50 years. Where you don't have to be qualified you just had to be related to someone.

They would much rather have a new DEI Director than 4 new CSRs, a supervisor and part of a manager. It's all about putting bux in the right people's pockets. A scam is a scam is a scam and no one in the exec offices really cares about customer service.

They know that the company has been playing for the wrong team since 2020, and should not have been playing for any team at all except the shareholders and customers. I'll be there will be some interesting conversations regarding why customer care centers are in Bangalore and not Bangor, ME. Or how the Chinese and others seem to have no problem gaining access to 'the Network'? This should get real interesting real fast.

There was a good su-k-up news release to welcome the new FCC commissioner. Not sure if Hans had a hand or the BOD.

The Swede we never needed stopped planting fiber optics across the country, just to spin the board on some unhealthy 5G nonsense from fiber-starved Europeans with too many border issues to build functional international fiber networks. which can really only be used to fry brains in the inner cities. Here is the best part, Starlink will likely Hoover up all of the rural broadband money. What a bunch of weak links who should be afraid of the end of DEI which has hurt telecom in network efficiency, pricing, and customer service.
