Senior employees were made redundant last month AGAIN (every month), but due to the terms of their redundancy agreements, they are unable to speak about it. The latest information received indicates that the company is cutting costs as part of the P-M initiative.

Problem they have with closing Poole site is that is where all the experienced corporate trust employees are (main function of Poole site). BNY would be irreparably cutting off a limb if the closed and lost these employees.

Nothing has been formally announced. However, people are being made redundant regularly, just a few at a time and they are either not replaced at all or replaced in a growth location (Manchester or India). It is possible they may seek to close it when the lease is up over the next few years which seems most likely option but this is my guess only - as I say, nothing formally announced.
