Classic cases of not understanding your customer

Jeep turned the Wrangler into a luxury vehicle instead of a pure rock climbing mud buster.
Dodge retired its V8 and turned its roaring beast into an electric tamed kitty.
CRE/GRE ripped out spaces where engineers thrived in favor of loud uninspired call centers.
All wasted millions creating their dream instead of what the customer desired.
Jeep and Dodge are failing big time.
Used to get preached to about satisfying internal and external customers. Why is that no longer a thing? Spending millions to make customers miserable? Is that what T is about now?
Every single town hall, every org, a private, personal desk is the number one ask!
Stop ignoring your customers!

“Just keep on moving the goal posts. Stop with the RTO wouldn't be so bad. They fix one problem and y'all just move on to the next. Be honest with yourselves, you just don't want to work in the office.”

You didn’t address any points I made about cramming engineers in with program managers, sales, marketing, 100+ people to a floor, etc.

Also, everyone is different, some people want full RTO. I’d be fine if just given an office, I’d practically live there IF I HAD MY OWN FU--ING ROOM!

I need to concentrate, I need to be able to close a door, I want to leave my stuff at the office and create a space for myself to call my own, like I have some stake at the company I work for.

Is that really too much to ask?

I’m an engineer making excess of $200k+ a year, why am I sitting on the floor surrounded by screaming id--ts trying to create our digital infrastructure?

It makes NO sense!

Going into the office 3-5 days a week wouldn’t be so bad if we had dedicated workspaces and could actually work.

As an engineer how am I supposed to concentrate and get anything done with 50 MBA mo--ns screaming on calls about sales surrounding me?

When I’m on a call with clients and teammates and it sounds like I’m at the New York stock Exchange how is that more productive?

None of this makes any sense.
