If you see bottom engineers work hard, that’s because their pay is close to the upper engineers. As simple as that. Pay push you no one else could. Favoritism in action. Managers put more money on their favorite bottom engineers.

so the question is are you a top or bottom engineer. How do you prefer things? Give or take?
The bully culture in action. I have never seen so many polite, nice guys become bullies — because that is the only way they know how to survive.
In my case, my manager hired 3 young foreign workers on visa shadowing me. I worked hard to keep my job. But I guess they will rebrand all of my work as theirs after learning everything from me.
