Has anyone been disciplined/fired for all the monitoring we keep hearing about?
Have heard a ton about it but haven’t seen anyone actually be talked to about it.

"lol, as if commuting does not cost 2-3x what anyone's bonus is."
You're telling me that commuting costs you $30 - $40,000 a year?
Guy who was on concerns for not RTO got his Wave 3 letter. Then was told he could WFH until he actually has to move.
Come on folks…live your designation!!!! That phrase will go down as one of the stupidest and tone- deaf phrase ever uttered…
I am thinking many are going to be in for a surprise at bonus time. This absolutely DID happen last year in E&O, and I believe it's going to happen again, but on a much larger scale.
“Thank you for causing the decision to go 5x8 in 2025.”
Understand this. I do not care about you or this company.
I care about me, and that is all. Now get your low IQ azz in the office
“I coffee badged about 90% of 2024 3 days RTO and was never spoken to about it.”
Thank you for causing the decision to go 5x8 in 2025.
Danger! Danger! Will Robinson, try coffee badging in 2025 and see what happens. The job you save may be your own, non compliance will allow you to WFH 7 days a week and be your own boss, due to termination with cause. I know there are those who will always test it out and the company is more than ready to terminate them, someone needs to be the example of discipline for all. A few I know have been coffee badging in at their local central office but have been told they need to report to their assigned location going forward in the new year.
Job market isn’t so hot right now for displaced American tech workers. Not saying you won’t eventually find something after a thousand applications, a few interviews but it’s going to take work and time. Good luck!
I coffee badged about 90% of 2024 3 days RTO and was never spoken to about it.
Just got a connection award and my yearly bonus is coming in 2 months.
“At the end of the day everything is selective”
This won’t be the case moving forward in 2025 since metrics reports are now regularly and actively being reviewed by top leadership. This is why so many have seen lower management levels backtrack on initial plans to avoid 5x8 RTO.
I know several who refused to RTO and got connection awards and no loss of regular annual bonus.
At the end of the day everything is selective
Yes folks are being told they aren’t meeting requirements based on the presence report. That is step 1. Step 2 is PiP or written warning, step 3 is termination.
I know of quite a few folks told they weren’t meeting the requirement based on the presence report. I also know the presence report is under reporting for many locations and is not accurate. Yet folks are still getting told they aren’t meeting requirements. Document everything and your hours. They are looking for any reason to fire folks starting Jan 6.
I know several coworkers lost their bonuses last year.
lol, as if commuting does not cost 2-3x what anyone's bonus is.
I think it sux for those who did the 3 days as required for the last year and a half and the slackers who didn’t are still employed.
Do the right thing at the right time and there is no need to worry.
Remember.
AT&T only does this to management.
Should have been Union.
Just not meeting the 3 days per badge reports, nothing else.
ask your supervisor and first

Last year those who didn’t comply lost their bonus. Going forward it will be your job.
