Made The News

We were called out on Fox Business as one of the many companies that are going to 5-Day RTO in 2025.

“We are merely moving back to pre-COVID conditions, but you are now undermining the true productivity of those who used to work more than 8 hours on a regular basis or those that used to put more effort and would go out of their way to make a project successful.”

Metrics have now shown how low this percentage of employees really was.

“Everyone knows there is a lot of unaccountability when everyone is working from home and the taxpayer isn’t being served for what they are being taxed for. If the govt. workers don’t like then find another job because those are the expectations you hired under.”
Great explanation for why RTO meets business needs. Don’t we all have coworkers often unteachable for large sections of the day when remote?

Err expectations.

Easy to track productivity and those that don’t do the job they hired on to do will be summarily fired with cause. You don’t write the checks or make the rules, whine all you want but those are the exceptions.

If you think that RTO will improve productivity, you are delusional. There is a significant difference between looking busy and actually being productive. We are merely moving back to pre-COVID conditions, but you are now undermining the true productivity of those who used to work more than 8 hours on a regular basis or those that used to put more effort and would go out of their way to make a project successful

Prior to Covid-19 those government workers were in offices and not remote. There are some jobs that aren’t taxpayer facing that could be done at home but as a taxpayer most of us want someone available or talk to in person when we need help. Everyone knows there is a lot of unaccountability when everyone is working from home and the taxpayer isn’t being served for what they are being taxed for. If the govt. workers don’t like then find another job because those are the expectations you hired under.

President Trump will RTO federal workers.

Trump, his allies and Republicans in Congress are committed to ending a remote-work culture that became widespread for the civil service of 2.3 million during the coronavirus pandemic but that many conservatives now decry as an outdated taxpayer-funded perk that has hurt performance across the government.

We are going back to being a basic utility company in a lot of ways but with a fiber base. Much less expensive to maintain. And with the new technology a lot of our historical work is being decommissioned or sent overseas for cheaper labor. IE our stores are usually empty most days. See a lot of our competitors in the same boat. The younger folks want to do everything on a app.

As an investor, I feel much better about investing in AT&T because their employees who don’t do any work at home will now not do any work in an office building. Thinking that thru, I will not invest in AT&T, I will invest in firms that pave parking lots, staff building security and staffing companies. AT&T is like a water utility that does not let its employees take baths. Why build a Billion dollar connectivity business, when you can’t operate it with remote employees? Head scratcher.

“ None of the Dem0 networks report on it.”

Serious question - why not?
