Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

This is why

“AT&T's top line has dropped by $83.1 billion between 2017 and 2023 but Verizon saw its revenue rise by $7.9 billion over the same period.“

Anyone know who’s in charge of revenue?

Was it the same guys who destroyed the company with failed mergers and acquisitions but are still running the company?

I see the problem clear as day. It’s literally a no brainer. Guess the board of directors have no brains.

That was an adjusted revenue number for Verizon after selling their wireline business in C-, TX and FL. Of course they are now buying them back (FTR acquisition at a price premium). OP should do sime more due diligence before posting BS. Glad you aren’t in Finance or Ciet Strategy😂.

Why did you continue working for AT&T and stay all these years if you disagreed so much with earlier mergers and acquisitions?

there is zero accountability for CEO level failures, which drain billions from the company, yet they still receive 20% annual raises

“Grow revenue, what a concept!”

How about just stop bleeding revenue out of all of your major arteries.

Take another look at those numbers.

We LOST 83 Billion while Verizon made 8 Billion and zero accountability.

This is beyond a dereliction of duty, this is a clear violation of the Boards sovereign duty to share holders.

Where is the accountability?!?!?!

Grow revenue, what a concept! Unfortunately, the current AT&T CEO can’t wrap his head around it. Reducing cost to get to profitability, that is his only playbook.

We all laugh at our leadership, but imagine how much they laugh at John Stanky over there at Verizon and T Mobile.
