Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Where is FLV, we need him back!

He was able to convince WS that we were really a subscription and services company and the stock hit $25! It’s been all downhill since he “departed.” Now that PS has tried, failed, and moved on to spinning wheels elsewhere, we need a real producer back!

According to Ford, Peter Stern is our President of Integrated Services. Or is our website wrong?

Stern is the new CEO of Peloton. He started on January 1st. He is no longer with Ford.

From Peloton...
We couldn’t be more excited to announce the appointment of Peter C. Stern as Peloton’s new CEO and President, starting January 1. Check out his profile on LinkedIn, and you’ll see someone who is a perfect fit for Peloton. He’s spent his career at the intersection of hardware, software, content, and services at companies such as Ford, Apple, and Time Warner Cable. He’s a builder, a strategist, and a subscriptions wh-z, including in the fitness space.

Management is too top heavy, we don’t need a “president” of integrated services, a CEO for Ford Pro, a CEO for a train station, or a CEO of Canopy. Cut those salaries out and give the pay to American engineers in the USA.

Did PS actually depart? As of 1/2/25 he is still listed as President, Ford Integrated Services on our website.

Now that PS has departed Ford to spin wheels elsewhere, he doesn’t have much to say about his “accomplishments at Ford:

“Before joining Peloton, Peter was the President of Integrated Services at Ford, where he led businesses like BlueCruise autonomous driving and launched the Ford Connectivity and Security Packages.”

How many people have paid for subscriptions to BlueCruise or Ford Connectivity and Security Packages? The answer tells you why PS left Ford.

Funny that a $25 stock price is considered "glory days". Says a lot without saying anything.

Then you would agree that the CEO of Canopy, CM, was incapable and unprepared for the job, and should never be given that level of responsibility again, having cost Ford. $200 Million to “acquire” the failing business that had to refund all the customers money that he claimed was 100% his idea.

If you are trying yo be humorous here, you have fallen flat. Anyone that is in the know, will admit Canopy would have been successful as intended had FLV not separated from the company. That was just one of the projects he was influencing.
