If Fidelity didn’t get a national day off for mourning when Trump was voted to be the president again, what makes you think there would be a day off for Jimmy Carter?

There was absolutely no need for that PTO line at the end - it was obvious we are not getting day off

I love how someone has already commented on this! I don’t really expect to get the day off because we didn’t the last time a president died, but have some common decency to not put the subject line of the email “Fidelity recognizes National Day of Mourning” which gets our hopes up that we might actually be treated with as much respect as the post office, but then reality check us in a wordy email with the sad punch line at the bottom. These communications people need to go back and learn how to communicate. Enough with the spin - tell it like it is. Pulse survey can’t come fast enough.
