I’m new to thelayoff, and just wanted to gain insight on what people think of the BU. What it’s like working there, pros, cons, anything interesting that doesn’t violate HIPPA. Thank you, happy new years everybody!

I work on a development team for Wealthscape and it's fine. Not sure what these other posts are referring to.
Well, as the OP, from the looks of what other people are saying common themes are sloppiness, low morale, and favoritism. I heard areas like Digital Experience got ravaged by the layoff in March, so I can see why morale isn’t the best right now. Seeing the amount of upvotes on these comments is concerning. I hope something there shifts in the future.
Morale has nosedived.
Volumes are extremely high. Lazy slacker coworkers are tolerated, so be prepared to take on extra work if you're even slightly above average at your job.
Management has failed to staff properly, leading other teams that have no knowledge in our space to assist with the volumes of the understaffed teams, which has led to more errors and time waste.
Bonuses are significantly worse than PI/WI. Raises are horrid too if you're lucky enough to even get one.
Favoritism/nepotism are rampant in FI, but I could probably say that it's not specific to FI. Lol. Our manager is the kid of an executive, and only promotes people within their clique.
Stay away. Morale is extremely low and it’s a toxic work environment where upper mngt seems totally fine using fear tactics to try to motivate people. A ton of feedback has been given by associates but it just keeps getting worse. Many do the bare minimum just to make it to the next paycheck and the BU has lost a lot of great associates to other internal organizations. Maybe it’ll get better this year, who knows.

It's a mixed bag. There are decent groups, some favored groups, and some where people go to waste away for the next 20 years.
