The real fail is the productive, talented and/or younger employees are going to be the ones leaving. They won’t be able to get the new talent with the 5x in office (it is not common or standard any longer and viewed as antiquated). Part 2 is the only people that are going to stay will be the waiting to retire folks, the slackers that find this easy to hide, and the less skillful. Ie the people they want to leave. Everyone else has got 2 feet out the door. So like most decisions the leadership here has made, it was a fail from the start.
"T leadership will likely scale back to a hybrid model after target numbers are met."
I am sure the next CEO will change policy and be able to blame Stankey for the downfall. The only concern Stankey has is can he keep his Augusta membership when he is no longer CEO.
You have to understand the goal to determine the success. The goal is not to create productive and happy workforce. The goal is to reduce head count and therefore RTO as implemented by Stankey will be successful.
5x8 is needed for at least a couple years to weed out the full time bad apples who have been working part time for a long time. T leadership will likely scale back to a hybrid model after target numbers are met.
You should bring this to Stankey's attention. Maybe he might reconsider RTO. He is known to be reasonable.
That WAS a well written article, thanks for sharing
“Just fire all the RTO crybabies already. Let's get the over with.”
I’m an RTO crybaby. Come stop by my childish drop in spot where I complain all day. Be sure to bring more than your big mouth. Nut sniffing T pet.
THEY
DONT
CARE
Just fire all the RTO crybabies already. Let's get the over with.
It’s already failed TBH. I’ve never seen the employee base and leadership pitted against eachother before in 25 years.
People aren’t stupid and see right through it.
T wants to trim its work force by at least 50%, so this won’t be the case here.
