Big cuts today, we were understaffed anyway, I was spared but I am not sure how we will be doing our work without people who were let go. I think we cut around 20 people today, that's is very big for us, I am very anxious about future and I am sure they will continue to bring staff numbers down

I realize that cuts are a part of our work life in today's world and I credit the bank for trying to do them once a year. However, that being said, We hire a lot of new people each year and than layoff a greater amount. You would think that they would try and retain most employees due to training, loyalty and down right human emotions. I don't get it.
We were somewhat over staffed and the people that are gone in our dept were not producers. Others were let go I believe on pay. There are people working still today that made the cut that really do not pull their own weight.
Outsourcing at this point is very unlikely
No outsourcing for now in Apps Support area, 100% confirmed
