Has anyone heard about this, it looks like we are completely shutting that location? Anyone has more details?

this yard was closed thurs 2/5 112 people laid off 5-6 offered transfer to Shreveport. another stupid decision by baker hughes management

Yes they are shutting it down. I read it in the local newspapers. I'm in Houston. You could also read about it at www.fuelfix.com. Sorry for this bad news
I think they have over 50 Field Operators, a dozen field engineers, some field specialists and manufacturing operations, probably one inventory guy and a dozen Repair/Maintenance Technicians. Add to that some sales and account mgmt folks and a training person you have around 100 people. I think they are already closed though, back in January…
