I was let go by BHI in 2009. It came out of nowhere. I had a wife at home and two baby girls. My boss had to drive me home because i was laid off at work with a company car. As we drove up the jerk says...wow you live in a gorgeous house. My thoughts....not for long now. My smiling wife meets me at the front door and sees the tears in my eyes. This was our first experience with the oil field. But you know what.....we made it....i found another job eventually. ....we kept the house.....and our family stayed together. I was so mad at my boss etc everyone who knew and didn't tell me. But if they had it would have only given me more weeks of worry. So try not to blame.....just love spending time with your family and increase your faith. It will no different but in time it will be better.

it's an addiction. Don't buy into it. Get out of the oilfield.
