Heard Halliburton maximum amount of weeks that it pays as severance pay to its laid off employees is 13 weeks. While Bakers maximum weeks for severance pay is 26 weeks.

Sole income - condolences on your being laid off. Was laid off from Baker back in 2009, myself. Your severance pay should come by the same method as your paychecks used to come. If they paid you by check then they will mail you a check. If you had direct deposit then it will be electronically deposited. Either way it will take Baker a week or two to process it and actually pay you. Baker's standard severance package is one week of pay at your current pay rate per year of working for the company. Therefore you should receive somewhere around 9 weeks of pay.

You survived her for 9 years, you should be having no problems finding jobs elsewhere. Good luck and Godspeed.

Dude, if you were truly laid off then why in the heck did you not ask HR this question at that time?
